Stuff I Miss

We are living in a two bedroom, 1000 square foot apartment. It is nice but very small. The kids are sharing the master bedroom which has its own bathroom and walk in closet. They have got along very well. It helps school and sports have started. We don't have much storage here. Some of our stuff is in a storage unit and some is still in Idaho. I am missing our gas barbecue and my sewing box. We can use the barbeque's provided by the apartment complex. You have to use charcoal bricks. I haven't talked Trent into doing that yet. My sewing box is lost in the move. I can find my sewing machine and material but not my needles, sewing scissors or basic sewing supplies. I have all this free time I could use being productive. Oh well.

The thing I miss most is the special people in my life... family. The kids miss playing with their cousins. I miss holding my new niece, born in May. I miss raiding my Mom's fridge for a Pepsi, hearing my Dad's book on tape and going up to Hiese to spend time with them. I miss seeing the new over the top project my mother-in-law is working on. I really miss my best walking buddy, Audra. My waist really misses her.

I'm a little homesick today. Trent's brothers went to Yellowstone together this weekend. We would have loved to spend the time with them. We are 15 hours away. My kids love being the older cousins that help the littler ones.

Well, better go make my own memories!!!

  4. We both went to Yellowstone but not together. It just worked out that that was the day we both could go. We did see each other at Old Faithful. Julie's brown hair is really cute. We miss you guys.

  5. We miss you guys too. It was nice to just see you guys every once in a while so that we didn't have to make Trent talk on a phone. You may as well take good walks in the nice weather down there to give yourself some more sqaure feet to feel free. Love you
